The Profile

Himalayan English School was established in the year 1974 and it is conducted by the "Pakhrin Educational Trust" (Rgd. No. 5/60536 of 1985-86). The trust is also affiliated to "Kripasaran Buddhist Mission". The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi (No. WB/186). The school is administered by the Trustee Board and Managing Committee. In order to prepare the students for the examinations, a well worked programme is conducted through classes Pre-Nursery to XII.
The school deploys modern and scientific methods of teaching for a more effective learning. The all-round development of each student is its prime concern.

Himalayan English School envisages an institution that imparts holistic education to boys and girls to become responsible citizens of their motherland, India. School Location

The Primary School (Pre Nursery to Class II) is located at Iskcon Road. The High School (Classes III to XII) is located at Ektiasal (Near Eastern Bypass). The school has most conductive environment for studies. It is surrounded by the sights of scenic beauty and is totally free from any type of pollution as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The school is housed in its own building with spacious and well ventilated rooms.
